3rd June 1952: Beside St Pauls Cathedral, London, designed by Sir Christopher Wren, built from 1675 - 1710, is the fine pinnacled tower of the Church of St Augustine with St Faith, Watling Street, also designed by Wren, in the wake of the Great Fire of 1666.
