Gustave Eiffel was the Structural Engineer of the Statue of Liberty and its Sculptor was Frederic Auguste Bartholdi. It was completed in Paris in June 1884, and presented to America by France in recognition of the friendship established during the American Revolution.

An all time favorite. I knew this angle existed after viewing a newspaper photo. My job was to find it, and shoot one for myself. Looking at a map, and drawing a line helped alot. Taken from the now gone Caven Point pier in Bayonne, NJ. The picture date is an estimate. Well worth the trouble
