(Original Caption) New York society leader Mrs. Alva Belmont was the author of a Suffrage Operetta presented at the Waldorf Astoria in New York on February 18, 1916. Society women were members of a Ten Million Dollar Chorus and joined forces with professional performers to raise funds for the suffrage cause.
