(Original Caption) 7/21/1959-New York: Fans and friends of jazz singer Billie Holiday line the area as her casket is carried into church here for a solemn requiem mass. Miss Holiday died from heart failure brought on by congestion of the lungs. Identifiable on the steps of the church are pianist Teddy Wilson (left foreground) and clarinetist Benny Goodman (right foreground). Juanita Hall, of "South Pacific" fame is at right, at the bottom of the steps
