Text on this engraving, including motto, reads: 187 Phipps, Lord Mulgrave VIRTUTE QUIES (Rest in virtue) Constantine Phipps, 1st Baron Mulgrave was an Irish peer, created Baron Mulgrave in 1767. He was based in New Ross in the County of Wexford, and in the Peerage of Ireland. The name Mulgrave is derived from the ancestral home in Mulgrave, Yorkshire.
