Wasp. The dam of Neasham, Nettle and Hurworth. London. Published by Rogerson & Tuxford, 246, Strand, 1861. (Originally produced for the Sporting Review.) Wasp was born in 1839, her sire being Muley Moloch, a strong stallion that won his races in the 1830s on race courses in northern England.
