How do I place an order?

Ordering is quick & easy - Just follow our Simple Steps:

  1. Find your image. Use our search box or browse our online photo collections to find the image you want.

  2. Choose your print format. Select your desired product and add it to your cart.

  3. Enter your address details. For Data Protection we remove all Personally Identifiable Information after 12 months.

  4. Pay for your purchase. We use state-of-the-art security and do not have access to your card details.

  5. Sit back and relax. We will email you order updates and registered customers can track orders in the My Account area.

What are Photo Prints?

Our Photo Prints are in a large range of sizes and are printed on Archival Quality Paper for excellent color reproduction and longevity. They are ideal for framing (our Framed Prints use these) at a reasonable cost. Alternatives include cheaper Poster Prints and higher quality Fine Art Paper, the choice of which is largely dependent on your budget.

What are Fine Art Prints?

Our fine art prints are high-quality prints made using a paper called Photo Rag. This 100% cotton rag fiber paper is known for its exceptional image sharpness, rich colors, and high level of detail, making it a popular choice for professional photographers and artists. Photo rag paper is our clear recommendation for a fine art paper print. If you can afford to spend more on a higher quality paper, then Photo Rag is our clear recommendation for a fine art paper print.

What are Poster Prints?

Poster prints are budget friendly enlarged prints in standard poster paper sizes (A0, A1, A2, A3 etc). Whilst poster paper is sometimes thinner and less durable than our other paper types, they are still ok for framing and should last many years. Our Archival Quality Photo Prints and Fine Art Paper Prints are printed on higher quality paper and the choice of which largely depends on your budget.

What is the best way to contact you?

The quickest way to get in touch with us is online by using the contact form provided on the "Contact Us" page located at the bottom of our website. Please provide us with as much information as possible so that we can assist you quickly and efficiently. Our customer service team will respond to your inquiry as soon as possible. If you have a question or concern about an order you have already placed, please include your order number in your message. Our phone lines are only manned in the UK during normal weekday working hours.

How can I use the image?

Prints are sold for personal use only and not for publication or reproduction, digitally or otherwise. Selected images, where shown, may be offered for download and permit additional use in accordance with the license purchased. Our images are generally not licensed for download or commercial use and we suggest you contact our respective image partner, the details of which should be shown near the Copyright notice on the product pages.

Can I download files or images?

Unless a download license is offered, images are only offered as physical prints for personal use only and are not for publication or reproduction, digitally or otherwise. For further information please contact our respective image partner, the details of which should be shown near the Copyright notice on the product pages.

How do I pay for an order?

You can pay for your order with most credit and debit cards, or PayPal. For added security, major financial institutions process payment details separately and securely on our behalf. We do not have access to your online payment card details. Online payments are preferred however we do take UK phone orders and UK cheques (issued against a UK bank).

Can I add to my order?

Unfortunately, due to our automated production process after an order is placed this is not possible.

I am in a hurry, I need it urgently, can I get it any quicker?

Our fastest shipping items are standard Photo Prints. For urgent last minute gifts we recommend ordering one of our Photo Prints and buying an off the shelf Print Frame locally - you can often find them in large supermarkets or online with quick delivery from companies like Amazon. Our prints can easily drop into most frames and come in a range of standard sizes such as 10x8, 20x16, and 20x30.

Can I check the progress of my order?

In addition to email updates, you can also check the progress of your order by logging into your account on our website, providing you supplied a password to create an account at the checkout.

How long does it take to dispatch an order?

We take great pride in providing premium quality products that are custom-made by skilled craftsmen at a reasonable cost. As a result, the production process can take time. Smaller photo prints are usually dispatched within one business day, while other products may take up to 5 working days to ship. The estimated shipping date will be shown within your order details. We strive to produce and dispatch orders as quickly as possible without sacrificing quality.

Can I view my order history?

Yes, all of your previous orders are available in the "My Account" area when signed in.

Can I cancel my order?

Our production system operates on an automated process for customising and initiating orders efficiently. Upon order confirmation, there is a brief 2-hour window available within which customers can pause an order or make amendments to the shipping address before it moves into production. It is important to note that once an order is confirmed, it undergoes immediate production. This rapid transition makes it impossible to modify or cancel the order, even if it hasn't yet shipped. Our production workflow is intricately designed to seamlessly move confirmed orders into production, which poses a challenge in locating and removing individual orders once they've entered this stage.

The automated system is an integral part of our operations, ensuring efficiency and timely delivery for all our valued customers. Due to this process and the significant volume of orders managed within our system, we regret that we cannot accommodate cancellation requests. Therefore, we highly encourage customers to thoroughly review their orders before confirming them to avoid any inconvenience.

My order arrived damaged

In the unlikely event the product is faulty or damaged please reply to your order confirmation email attaching a photo showing the problem. Alternatively email sales@mediastorehouse.com and include an order reference.

Can I get a refund?

If for any reason you are not satisfied, or you have changed your mind, you must contact us within 15 days of receiving your items. Authorized returns must be sent via a trackable method and be received 15 days from the date of authorization. Please do not return items without prior authorization.

Can I return my item?

Please contact us within 15 days of receiving your items and do not return items without prior authorization. Authorized returns must be sent tracked and be received 15 days from the date of authorization. You will be asked to return items in the original packaging and in the same condition they were received. Shipping charges on the original order will be refunded if the entire order is returned. We recommend keeping proof of posting.

Digital Content including Image Downloads and Licensing

If you have purchased a License for Digital Content our refund policy lasts 30 days. If you have downloaded the file, or 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we cannot offer a refund or exchange. Due to the nature of Digital Downloads we are not able to accept returns and all sales are final. However we want you to be satisfied with our products, so if you encounter any issue with one of our files within the 30 day refund policy period, please contact us right away at sales@mediastorehouse.com and we will try our best to fix the problem and provide you with a new file. If we are unable to fix the issue we can offer a refund. To be eligible for a refund your issue must be with our delivered files, such as corrupted files or missing components. We cannot offer refunds due to choice of image or issues with software or hardware on your own system. Before making a purchase, please carefully read the product details to ensure compatibility.

Is Sales Tax (VAT) included for EU Orders?

We now also ship Photo Prints and Framed Prints from the EU (Netherlands) - select the EU flag at the base of the page if needed

For EU orders that ship from the UK any Sales Tax (VAT) is included for goods totaling up to the value of 150 Euros and no further payment should be needed. For countries outside the UK, USA, Australia, and any larger EU orders that ship from the UK, you may be liable for import tax and duties, where applicable our prices are reduced to help compensate for this.

  • We now ship Photo Prints and Framed Prints from within the EU (Netherlands)
  • Click on the relevant flag at the base of the page to change dispatch location before adding items into your cart.
  • Sales Tax (VAT) is included for orders that ship within the EU and UK. For EU orders that ship from the UK it is also included for goods that total up to 150 Euros.
  • You may be liable for import tax and duties in countries outside the UK, USA, Australia and for any larger EU orders that ship from the UK, .
  • Orders from the UK to the EU are automatically handled by our system with any relevant costs clearly shown in the shopping cart before payment is made.
  • EU Orders from the UK for goods valued up to 150 Euros are covered by the HMRC/EU "IOSS" (Import One-Stop Shop) agreement. We handle the VAT for you so there are no additional fees to pay upon receipt. The applicable VAT rate is that of where the order is to be delivered and you will be given an IOSS code in your order confirmation as proof that VAT has been paid. In the unlikely event the courier accidentally requests further VAT payment just let them know it has already been paid and quote the IOSS code given.
  • EU Orders from the UK for goods totaling over 150 Euros are not covered by the IOSS scheme. In this case payment is simply made in two parts. In the shopping cart any VAT is removed so there is less to pay upfront. We also show the estimated final payment that may be due when the order is ready for delivery (covering the applicable VAT rate for your location and any fees payable).
  • In most cases this will be a simple secure online payment for the VAT due.
Is my data safe?

We take data security very seriously. We do not have access to your full card details and all payments are requested over a fully secure connection. Additionally, we fully comply with current European and GDPR legislation, and automatically remove all personal data after at most 12 months (unless you have an account with us and have signed in recently). We also have a strict opt-in policy and would never sell your personal details. Your data is only used to fulfill your order promptly and efficiently.

Is Wall Art ready to hang?

For quick and easy installation all Wall Art, including framed prints, canvas prints and metal prints are supplied with a ready to hang solution on the back. Generally, saw tooth hangers are applied as they allow wall art to hang flush against the wall. The serrated edge of the hanger prevents the frame from shifting or tilting when hung.

How do I safely remove posters from tubes?

Posters can easily be removed by tapping tubes gently on a hard surface which will drop them down to one end. When done, insert two fingers inside, open them out and gently twist clockwise or anti-clockwise to draw the posters inwards, making them smaller, then gently pull to remove. When removing posters from tubes, it is important to be gentle and avoid any sharp objects that could potentially damage the poster. Additionally, make sure to handle posters with clean hands or wear gloves to avoid leaving fingerprints or other marks on the print.

How do I know if the product is in stock?

All of our products are custom made to order, which means you are buying a bespoke product and should therefore never run out of stock.

Why are there white lines on two sides of the print?

This is likely due to the original image having a different shape (aspect ratio) than the paper or product it is printed on. To accommodate this difference, we can either print the entire image with margins, or crop the image to fill the paper with no margins. During the ordering process, we offer the choice of how you would like your image printed if applicable. Some of our products can accommodate a range of shapes, so this choice may not be necessary for those products.

Are the photo prints fade resistant?

Yes, we use archival quality photo paper photographic paper for vivid reproduction. Prints are an accurate representations of the original artwork, which is preserved for artistic character and authenticity. We guarantee they match the previews shown on our web site

What is the difference between a Photo Print and a Poster Print?

Photographic prints range in size from 6x4" (15x10cm) to 60x40" (152x102cm). Poster prints are an enlarged version of photographic prints that come in standard poster paper sizes (A0, A1, A2, A3 & A4). Because they are both printed on high quality paper, either print is of excellent quality, so which one you choose really depends on your personal preference and budget. Both prints are suitable for framing and are guaranteed to correspond to the previews displayed on our website, making them an accurate representation of the original artwork.

Is the image printed on both sides of photo mugs and are mugs dishwasher safe?

We print on both sides of photo mugs wherever possible, but for wider images, we size them to wrap around the mug for the largest possible image. Our photo mugs are top-rack dishwasher safe.

Can I have the print with a border?

Yes, to compensate for lips of frames, the option to add a small gap of approximately 4mm (may vary due to production tolerances) is offered on most prints. To add a border, tick the "add margin" box when customizing your product. The paper size will not change but a border ensures less of the image is under the lip of the edge of a frame.

Why is the image not wrapped around the canvas frame?

To ensure parts of the image are not cut off, we do not wrap the image on our framed canvas products. Wrapping takes up a lot of the image for the sides. As we source images from different libraries, it is not possible to guarantee that the wrapping will not result in the essential parts of the image being on the edges rather than the front. To ensure we supply a quality canvas print we offer color matched, black or white sides so that you can choose one that best suits your taste.

Are website watermarks also on the finished print?

Watermarks that may appear on the website previews are not included in our products, which are produced from much higher quality images. The watermarks are added to images on the web site to protect them from being reproduced without permission.

Can I change the color of the original image?

Images can be printed in color, black and white or with a sepia tone. Where available, options can be selected in the Choose Your Product Section. We also offer Image Colorization on selected artwork.

What is colorization & how does it work?

Colorization is a process that adds color to black and white and sepia photographs. Coloring photos has been around for as long as the camera with photographers adding color to photos by hand. Today cutting-edge artificial intelligence technology has made it possible to beautifully color photos in an instant. Where available, the colorized options can be selected in the Choose Your Product Section.

Where could I find specific product information?

You will find an info tab near the bottom of each product page that provides more detailed product descriptions and specifications.

How will my purchase be packaged?

Our packaging is standardized and we do our very best to securely pack products so that they arrive safely. Small and medium prints are sent flat and larger prints are sent rolled in strong tubes. Framed prints, canvas and metal prints are packaged in heavyweight boxes.

Can you ship to a different address to my billing address?

Yes, simply enter the alternate shipping address when ordering.

How much will shipping cost?

We ship worldwide. To find out the shipping cost, you can add products you want to purchase to a shopping cart and then proceed to checkout, where the shipping cost will be calculated. It is important to note that you do not have to complete the purchase if you just want to check the shipping cost.

What is the quality of the images you use for production?

We offer a great selection of beautifully printed art prints and check the size of the image against the products available to ensure optimum results. The images on the web site are for preview only and finished products are produced from higher spec copies.

What is the quality of historical images?

The quality of historical images can vary depending on several factors, including the age and condition of the original photograph, negative or historical document. Many historical images in our collections are scans of original photographs or negatives, which may show signs of wear and aging such as marks, scratches, or discoloration. However, we take great care in the production process to ensure that all prints are an accurate representation of the original artwork which has been preserved to show artistic character and authenticity.

Can I license an image for commercial use?

Our prints are offered for personal use only and not for commercial use, they cannot be reproduced or resold in any way. Unless the website states otherwise please contact the rights holder for licensing inquiries, their details are normally shown in the Copyright area.

What if I receive a message that appears to be from Media Storehouse but looks suspicious?

Contact us immediately; we take the security and trust of our customers very seriously and want to ensure that any concerns regarding fraudulent or misleading messages are addressed promptly.  We prioritize the security and privacy of our customers. Any reports or concerns about suspicious messages purportedly from our company are thoroughly investigated by our dedicated security team. We will take appropriate actions to address the issue and ensure the safety of our customers' information.

Do you have a shop I can visit?

We are an online-only retailer, so we do not have any physical shops or showrooms. We source our products from professional production facilities located in the UK, USA, EU (Netherlands), and Australia. You can browse our vast selection of art prints and other products from the comfort of your home, and we offer worldwide shipping to ensure that you receive your products wherever you are.

Shipping and Delivery

To avoid delays please carefully check the shipping address details to ensure they are correct with all the relevant information entered, including any business names, before proceeding to payment. Licensed images and gift certificates are sent instantly via email.

Where are you based?

Based in the UK, we ship directly from our manufacturing facilities located in the UK, USA, EU (Netherlands) and Australia. To ensure a fast and affordable service, most products ship from the manufacturing facility nearest to the destination address. Products can be made and shipped from other manufacturing facilities by simply choosing the relevant store at the base of the page before adding to your cart. Orders can be shipped to your home, work, or a friends address. Licensed images and gift certificates are sent instantly via email.

How much is shipping?

Shipping rates include both shipping costs and packaging. Once you have clicked through to the Your Cart page, you can enter the delivery country and choose a shipping method Shipping costs are then calculated and included in the order summary total. Some items may ship separately at no extra charge.

Is Sales Tax (VAT) included?

No additional payments should be due for orders shipped locally. We print and dispatch from within the UK, USA, EU (Netherlands) and Australia. It should default to your closest region and you can change regions using the flags at the base of each page before adding items to your cart. Will I get charged other customs taxes?

International orders (excluding those above) may be subject to import duties and taxes. Customs regulations can vary from country to country and frequently change. While all reasonable steps are taken to comply with world shipping standards, additional customs taxes or duties may apply. Charges are assessed by local governments and are not included in the order total. Payment is the responsibility of the recipient and is usually required prior to delivery.

How will my order be packaged?

When can I expect delivery?

To minimize shipping costs and speed up shipping, orders are automatically sent to the nearest manufacturing center to the destination address. Estimated dispatch dates are provided prior to checkout and may vary depending on the product. Standard Shipping takes approximately 1-7 business days to arrive after dispatch. International Shipping may take approximately 7-14 business days to arrive after dispatch. We rely on a global network of shipping as well as local postal services to ship orders as soon as possible and will send an email when your order has shipped.

Can I track my order?

Tracking is not always available however if a tracked service is being used, the details will be included in the email sent when your order has shipped. You can also check online if you have supplied a password to create an account at the checkout.

What if I am not in?

If you are not in when your order is delivered the courier may leave your parcel with a neighbor, in a safe place or a local collection point. When this happens, you will receive a notification card advising where it has been left or how to re-arrange shipping. If the package does not arrive within a day of the estimated delivery date: Check with members of your household, neighbors, doormen and colleagues to see if someone accepted packages on your behalf. Look around your area; couriers try to leave packages in safe locations. Typical spots include under porches, under benches, back doors, and around garages. Look for an attempted delivery notice. If the courier feels it is unsafe to leave your package, the driver will leave a note.

What happens if my order is returned?

Occasionally packages are returned to us as not deliverable. If this happens, we will contact you to check the shipping address and ask if you would like the item sent back out (note: we will only reship returned to sender items to the same, or revised, address once more).

What information do you collect?

This can include your name, address, email address and telephone number. We will not hold your data any longer than is necessary to fulfill our obligations.

How do you use my personal information?

We do not have access to payment card numbers. Any personal information you provide we will treated in accordance with current data protection legislation. We will primarily use your personal information to provide our products and services to you. We may also use it to meet our legal obligations, to improve the quality of our service, for internal market research, to track activity on our website, You may also opt in so that we can keep you updated of new products, services or special offers that may be of interest to you.

Disclosure of your personal information?

In order to provide our products and services to you, we may need to appoint other organizations to perform some of the processing activities on our behalf. These may include, for example, production partners and delivery agents. In these circumstances we will ensure that your information is properly protected and that it is only used in accordance with this policy.

Security of information

We take the security of your personal information seriously. When you submit your credit card details, we use high level encryption technology to guard your information. In addition, we have security procedures in place to protect our paper based systems and computerized databases from loss and misuse, and only allow access to them when it is absolutely necessary to do so, and then under strict guidelines as to what use may be made of the personal information contained within them.

Monitoring Telephone Calls

We may monitor or record telephone calls for security purposes and to improve the quality of services that we provide to you. All call logs are deleted within 12 months.

Your rights to access your personal information

You have the right to receive a copy of any personal information that we hold about you.

Personal Information Data Retention

It is our aim to automatically remove all Personal Data acquired during the Ordering process within 3 months. Personal Data includes Name, Email, Password, IP Address and any other data identified by legislation. For additional safety, emails (or other correspondence) that may contain personal information is removed within 12 months of receipt. Exceptions to these include Personal Data required to meet our legal obligations, and where an individual has explicitly opted-in for the data to be retained – for example by registering a user account or giving informed consent for marketing emails. As a further safeguard unused user accounts may automatically expire after 2 years of inactivity. Under their right to be forgotten, individuals can at any time request all their personal data be removed. This can be performed by authorized support personnel or online by the person themselves via a simple tick box. In order to complete our obligations for Order Processing (including the handling of returned items etc.) this may not immediately affect Personal Data associated with a recent order. Any such Personal Data is automatically removed separately within 3 months of the order being placed. To aid after-sales support, beyond this 3 month period orders can still be identified by non-personal markers.

Personal Information Data Erasure

All personal data can be removed at any time from the My Account area of the web site or by contacting Media Storehouse. In order to meet our obligations regarding order fulfillment and possible returns handling, Personal Data needed to fulfill an order is normally retained for up to 3 months regardless of Data Erasure Requests. By default, all Personal Data related to an order is removed after 3 months and all correspondence (including emails) removed after 12 months.

What Payment Services do you use?

We primarily use Stripe for payment, analytics, and other business services. Stripe collects identifying information about the devices that connect to its services. Stripe uses this information to operate and improve the services it provides to us, including for fraud detection.
