Prince Albert Memorial
Officially titled the Prince Consort National Memorial, it celebrates Victorian achievement and Prince Alberts passions and interests. Its located in Kensington Gardens and is one of Londons most ornate monuments, designed by George Gilbert Scott. Unveiled in 1872, the Memorial commemorates the death of Prince Albert, Queen Victorias husband, who died of typhoid fever at the age of 42
