Freelance Photographers Guild (FPG) Collection (page 10)

FPG International, originally known as Freelance Photographers Guild, was started in 1936 by Arthur Brackman, a New York newspaper editor. FPG specialised in producing photo-essay material for magazines, helping photographers get work with the era's new picture magazines, like "Life". FPG eventually became a general stock-photo company.
