Ancient Lights Dispute
Screens blacking out some of the office windows of Adelaide House, next to The Anglican church of St Magnus-the-Martyr, during a legal dispute over ancient lights, 14th May 1929. The original building on Lower Thames Street in the the City of London, was destroyed in the the Great Fire of London in 1666, and was rebuilt to a design by Sir Christopher Wren over the subsequent decade.
