Steam Train at Goathland

A steam train pulls into Goathland station, one of a number of stations in North Yorkshire that the line services. The railway is run by a charitable trust, and operated mostly by volunteers, it's beautiful old steam trains carry more than 250,000 passengers a year, and it is the second longest preserved line in Britain. Goathland station is famous for being Hogsmead station in the Harry Potter films.

All three of these took part in the famous Rainhill Trials in 1829 which was won by Stephenson's Rocket"
