The comet NEOWISE or C/2020 F3 can be seen in the starry sky abover Anglesey at about 1.00 am. Every 5000 to 7000 years this comet tracks so close to earth that it can be seen with the naked eye. Comet C/2020 F3 was discovered on March 27, 2020, from some 326 miles (525 km) above Earths surface by NEOWISE, the Near Earth Object Wide-field Infrared Survey Explorer, which is a space telescope launched by NASA in 2009
