The Siuslaw River Bridge

The 1568 foot bascule draw was designed by architect Conde MCcullough to carry Highway 101 over The Suislaw River. The bridge opened in 1936 and is noted for the use of Art Deco obelisks to both decorate and support the structure. Photo was taken on June 18 2020
