(Original Caption) 4/17/1953-Washington, D.C.: Mickey Mantle, N.Y. Yankees, today clouted the longest homer in the history of Griffith Stadium. The ball travelled 562 feet before it landed in a backyard (3) beyond the left field wall. Jimmy Foxx and Joe DiMaggio had hit them in the same direction but they wound up in the bleachers. Environmentally and ozone friendly, 40mm wide x 15mm Polycore® moulding has the look of real wood, is durable and light and easy to hang.
