(Original Caption). Cleveland Indians third baseman Al Rosen, for a day a member of the American League All Stars, is greeted at home plate after hoisting his first homer of the game in the third inning, with two mates aboard. Greeting the slugger at the plate on July 13th, are Bobby Avila, (L), Cleveland Indians second baseman, and Yogi Berra, of the New York Yankees, both of whom scored ahead of Rosen. At left is Detroit third sacker Ray Boone, who after greeting Rosen, stepped into the batter's box and belted a home run. At the lower right is the batboy. Rosen tied an All Star record with two home runs as a crowd of 68, 751 watched in the Municipal Stadium. The All Stars whipped the National League 11-9, in the highest scoring game of the 21 year history of the annual classic.
