(Original Caption). Dick Contino Wizard of the accordion and bobby soxer idol, is reported by the Army here as missing, just as he was about to be officially inducted. The 20 year old musician and radio star arrived at Fort Ord on Thursday under orders from his draft board in Glendale, CA. He was issued bedding and was scheduled to take the oath a a member of the Armed Forces, the following day. But on Friday morning, he failed to answerrole call and no one, not even his parents, seem to know where he went. The Army was not excitd, however, and said that if Contino does not show up within the next few days his case will be referred to his draft board for possible action by the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
