(Original Caption). For those who have asked querulously what sort of brain Salvador Dali, painter, has--here's a good chance to see for themselves. The artist arranged this tableau to illustrate his theory of evolution. That's his brain, sticking out clearly for all to see, as he reaches out toward a monkey, lost in a Forest which Dali planted atop a wrecked car which was a prop at a party he gave recently for the benefit of refugee artists. The top, of course, as you can plainly see, is really the bottom, and in the bottom, which is really the top, there was a bower of gardenias. Don't think this was silly. The flowers were there for a purpose. They were a bed for a live nude Sleeping Beauty. The whole layout, car, gardenias, Sleeping Beauty and all, was neatly laid out in a bed of petunias. Wood effect frame, card mounted, 10x8 fade resistant photo print. Overall outside dimensions 14x12 inches (36x31cm). Environmentally and ozone friendly, 40mm wide x 15mm Polycore® moulding has the look of real wood, is durable and light and easy to hang. Biodegradable and made with non-chlorinated gases (no toxic fumes) it is efficient; producing 100 tons of polystyrene can save 300 tons of trees! Prints are glazed with lightweight, shatterproof, optical clarity acrylic (providing the same general protection from the environment as glass). The back is stapled hardboard with a sawtooth hanger attached. Note: measurements provided are estimated outer dimensions, which include both the image and the frame.
