Boy Playing Chess Vs Man/Man Watches
(Original Caption) After an absence of over six months, Samuel Rzeschewski, the noted child chess prodigy and exhibition player, returned yesterday to New York, where, despite all of the attractions held out to him in Chicago, St. Louis, Los Angeles and San Francisco, he and his family expect to reside permanently in New York. He will attend school here, taking all the usual courses, as well as vocal culture. He is shown, aged eight, playing in Berlin where he won 26 and lost only one match. Photo, ca. 1919
