The plump peasant boy of six, whose name is Lingerh Lamutanchu (Lingerh the Divine Child), and who was to have been enthroned as the fourteenth Dalai Lama, spiritual and temporal leader of Tibet, is shown in colorful ceremonies today, Feb. 22nd. The boy is said to have been born at exact moment the 13th Dalai Lama died, Dec. 17, 1933, thus bearing out the Tibetan theory of reincarnation. However, the youngster will not become the actual ruler of Tibet until he reaches the age of 18. Until then, the land will be governed by the regent, Jenchen Hutuktu. Wood effect frame, card mounted, 10x8 fade resistant photo print. Overall outside dimensions 14x12 inches (36x31cm). Environmentally and ozone friendly, 40mm wide x 15mm Polycore® moulding has the look of real wood, is durable and light and easy to hang. Biodegradable and made with non-chlorinated gases (no toxic fumes) it is efficient; producing 100 tons of polystyrene can save 300 tons of trees! Prints are glazed with lightweight, shatterproof, optical clarity acrylic (providing the same general protection from the environment as glass).
