(Original Caption) 5/4/1962-West Berlin, Germany- A wall plus barbed wire fence plus guards... It seems there's an no finite end to the barriers put up to divide the city of Berlin. Instead of a minus there was a plus, when West Berlin police added a barbed wire fence 80-yards from the Communist wall to prevent the citizens on the west side from getting too near the border on May 1, when a huge freedom rally was held near the barrier in front of the Reichtag Building (Parliament). The scene in front of the Brandenburg Gate, shows the Communist wall, the wire fence, plus two West Berlin policeman on patrol duty. Wood effect frame, card mounted, 10x8 fade resistant photo print. Overall outside dimensions 14x12 inches (36x31cm).
