(Original Caption). Some 42 years later, Cary Grant and Leslie Brooks have met once more and renewed their friendship. The encounter came about on the set of Sol C. Siegel's production of Walk, Don't Run, Columbia pictures release which stars Grant, Samantha Eggar and Jim Hutton. For the last twelve months, he had unsuccessfully sought Brooks whereabouts in the United States. In the twenties, Grant and Brooks were members of Bob Pender's company of pantomimists, stilt-walkers and dancers. They covered vaudeville in their native Britain and then came to America, where they played the Hippodrome in New York and toured the Keith and Pantages circuits throughout the country. Then Grant went his way in show business, to become one of Hollywood's great stars. The diminutive Brooks - he stands four feet, ten inches high - continued in variety through the years, and now has a comedy sho. Wood effect frame, card mounted, 10x8 fade resistant photo print. Overall outside dimensions 14x12 inches (36x31cm). Environmentally and ozone friendly, 40mm wide x 15mm Polycore® moulding has the look of real wood, is durable and light and easy to hang. Biodegradable and made with non-chlorinated gases (no toxic fumes) it is efficient; producing 100 tons of polystyrene can save 300 tons of trees! Prints are glazed with lightweight, shatterproof, optical clarity acrylic (providing the same general protection from the environment as glass). The back is stapled hardboard with a sawtooth hanger attached. Note: measurements provided are estimated outer dimensions, which include both the image and the frame.
