Following their surprise marriage by which they eluded an expectant wedding party and sped to Yuma for a ceremony with only a matron of honor and a best man, Mr. and Mrs. Charles J. Bigelow (Mrs. Mabel Cooper) arrived at the Desert Inn in Palm Springs, where they are honeymooning today. In their baggage are two wedding cakes, one a clever telegram in pastry from their mutual friend, Wally Beery, who is scheduled to share honors with Mrs. Cooper's son, the famous Jackie, in his next picture. The romance between the two began at the first Mayfair party last fall in Hollywood, and ripened with the constant encouragement of Jackie himself, who thinks that Chuck Bigelow is a great guy. The ceremony was performed by Judge John Freeman, following a speedy drive to the Arizona town during which the couple experienced rain, wind and sand storms. According to Bigelow, wh. Wood effect frame, card mounted, 10x8 fade resistant photo print. Overall outside dimensions 14x12 inches (36x31cm). Environmentally and ozone friendly, 40mm wide x 15mm Polycore® moulding has the look of real wood, is durable and light and easy to hang. Biodegradable and made with non-chlorinated gases (no toxic fumes) it is efficient; producing 100 tons of polystyrene can save 300 tons of trees! Prints are glazed with lightweight, shatterproof, optical clarity acrylic (providing the same general protection from the environment as glass). The back is stapled hardboard with a sawtooth hanger attached. Note: measurements provided are estimated outer dimensions, which include both the image and the frame.
