(Original Caption). The region of The Bords de la Loire from Gien to Angers is called The Gardens of France'. The natural beauty of the region is a lure for tourists but an even greater inducement is provided by the historic chateaus and castles which dot the area. Something of the fairyland atmosphere of the country and the Chateaux de la Loire was captured by Rene Henry of the Paris bureau of Acme Newspictures in a trip through the section. After Versailles, the Chateau de Chambord is considered the outstanding structure of France. It has 365 windows for as many days in the year; 12 staircases for as many months and 52 chimneys for as many weeks. Wood effect frame, card mounted, 10x8 fade resistant photo print. Overall outside dimensions 14x12 inches (36x31cm). Environmentally and ozone friendly, 40mm wide x 15mm Polycore® moulding has the look of real wood, is durable and light and easy to hang. Biodegradable and made with non-chlorinated gases (no toxic fumes) it is efficient; producing 100 tons of polystyrene can save 300 tons of trees! Prints are glazed with lightweight, shatterproof, optical clarity acrylic (providing the same general protection from the environment as glass).
