New York: British-born actor Peter Lawford and his bride, the former Patricia Kennedy, daughter of the former ambassador to Britain, elbow their way through a huge crowd outside St. Thomas More's Church following their wedding. Some 3, 000 persons massed outside the church to see the famous couple as they entered the limousine for the trip to the Hotel Plaza where a reception was held. About 250 relatives and friends, including actress Marion Davies, witnessed the private rites. Some 50 neighborhood housewives sneaked into the church before the ceremony and took seats, causing some of the invited guests to stand during the ceremony. One of the usher's was Mrs. Lawford's brother, Senator John Kennedy, Massachusetts Democrat. The newlyweds planned to honeymoon in Hawaii before taking up residence in California. Environmentally and ozone friendly, 40mm wide x 15mm Polycore® moulding has the look of real wood, is durable and light and easy to hang. Prints are glazed with lightweight, shatterproof, optical clarity acrylic (providing the same general protection from the environment as glass).
