Nassau, Bahamas: With his wife Patrice Wymore Flynn at his side, film swashbuckler Errol Flynn stands the winner in a verdict handed down by a Nassau court, as wigged and gowned barristers relax after the decision. Flynn was awarded damages of 5, 000 pounds (about $14, 000) from Duncan McMartin, wealthy Canadian gold miner and part-owner of a Nassau hotel, for a slap in the back at a Nassau bar. The actor, suing for $224, 000, claimed the slap caused a disk to slip, incapacitating him to the extent that he lost a motion picture contract. Flynn says he will file another suit against McMartin to cover an alleged second slap, in the face, which happened in New York's El Morocco. Flynn refused to fight both times. Wood effect frame, card mounted, 10x8 fade resistant photo print. Overall outside dimensions 14x12 inches (36x31cm). Environmentally and ozone friendly, 40mm wide x 15mm Polycore® moulding has the look of real wood, is durable and light and easy to hang. Biodegradable and made with non-chlorinated gases (no toxic fumes) it is efficient; producing 100 tons of polystyrene can save 300 tons of trees! Prints are glazed with lightweight, shatterproof, optical clarity acrylic (providing the same general protection from the environment as glass). The back is stapled hardboard with a sawtooth hanger attached. Note: measurements provided are estimated outer dimensions, which include both the image and the frame.
