(Original Caption). Found at Tell Hassuna, Iraq. Tell Hassuna, North Iraq: View of one of the community levels found in excavation at Tell Hassuna, North Iraq during discovery of the first farming community known to man. Archaeologists Seton Lloyd and Fuad Safar, trained at the University of Chicago, dug through this level to reach the lowest at the site, the walls of which protrude slightly through floor of the level shown in this photo. The abode walls were raised by an Agrarian folk 6, 000 years before Christ. Found here was a sickle made of flint chips set in Bitumen, still sharp enough to cut grain. According to the Bible, Adam and Eve lived on what they could rustle up, but after they ate of the Tree of Knowledge and were driven from the Garden of Eden, they became husbandmen. Wood effect frame, card mounted, 10x8 fade resistant photo print. Overall outside dimensions 14x12 inches (36x31cm). Environmentally and ozone friendly, 40mm wide x 15mm Polycore® moulding has the look of real wood, is durable and light and easy to hang. Biodegradable and made with non-chlorinated gases (no toxic fumes) it is efficient; producing 100 tons of polystyrene can save 300 tons of trees! Prints are glazed with lightweight, shatterproof, optical clarity acrylic (providing the same general protection from the environment as glass). The back is stapled hardboard with a sawtooth hanger attached. Note: measurements provided are estimated outer dimensions, which include both the image and the frame.
