The classical story of the busy newspaperman who was married on his Sunday holiday, was duplicated yesterday, (Monday), when glamorous Gene Tierney of the films, now Countess Oleg Cassini, returned from an elopement to Las Vegas, Nevada, to resume her starring role in Belle Starr. On Saturday, Miss Tierney flew to Las Vegas with Cassini in a chartered Western Air Lines plane. Mindful of her role as the famed two-fun feminine outlaw, Miss Tierney gave airline officials the name of Belle S. Smith. The two were married by Justice of the Peace, M.B. Brown, who found a witness for the ceremony. With them, Miss Tierney carried a parental blessing in the form of a telegram from her father, Howard Tierney, New York insurance broker. Wood effect frame, card mounted, 10x8 fade resistant photo print. Overall outside dimensions 14x12 inches (36x31cm). Environmentally and ozone friendly, 40mm wide x 15mm Polycore® moulding has the look of real wood, is durable and light and easy to hang. Prints are glazed with lightweight, shatterproof, optical clarity acrylic (providing the same general protection from the environment as glass).
