(Original Caption). Cape Canaveral, Fla.: NASA released this photo taken showing ice on communications box at launch pad 39B. The fatal flight of space shuttle Challenger originated from 39B. The communications box shown is one of the boxes on launch pad 39B that the ice team could not open to communicate with the launch control center (LCC). January 28, the morning of the Challenger launch. In testimony before the Presidential Commission investigating the Challenger explosion the ice team stated they did find alternate boxes on launch pad 39B to communicate with the LCC. Wood effect frame, card mounted, 10x8 fade resistant photo print. Overall outside dimensions 14x12 inches (36x31cm). Environmentally and ozone friendly, 40mm wide x 15mm Polycore® moulding has the look of real wood, is durable and light and easy to hang.
