Jane Fonda clowns for the camera in between takes of a tense scene in A Doll's House, Joseph Losey's screen version of the Isben's classic in which activist Jane plays Nora Helmer, heroine to all women's liberationists, the model wife who closes the door on husband and children in order to begin a new life alone. Jane has been filming the role, her first attempt at a classic, on location in a tiny town in northern Norway, where she recently announced her engagement to activist leader Tom Hayden of the Chicago seven -- and the founder of America's SDS movement. Following completion of film, Jane and Tom journey to the U.S. where they expect to be married early in the new year following her divorce from French film director Roger Vadim. Wood effect frame, card mounted, 10x8 fade resistant photo print. Overall outside dimensions 14x12 inches (36x31cm). Environmentally and ozone friendly, 40mm wide x 15mm Polycore® moulding has the look of real wood, is durable and light and easy to hang. Biodegradable and made with non-chlorinated gases (no toxic fumes) it is efficient; producing 100 tons of polystyrene can save 300 tons of trees! Prints are glazed with lightweight, shatterproof, optical clarity acrylic (providing the same general protection from the environment as glass). The back is stapled hardboard with a sawtooth hanger attached. Note: measurements provided are estimated outer dimensions, which include both the image and the frame.
