Lynwood Schoolboy Rowe, of the Detroit Tigers, the ace hurler, (L), shakes the hand of Henry Hank Greenberg, his hard hitting teammate with whose help, the former won his sixteenth straight game equaling the hurling record set by Walter Johnson, Smokey Joe Wood, and Bob Grove. Greenberg had just hit a homer in the 9th, tying the score. The Tigers won the game with the Washington Senators at Washington on August 25, 1934, with the score being 4-2. Wood effect frame, card mounted, 10x8 fade resistant photo print. Overall outside dimensions 14x12 inches (36x31cm). Environmentally and ozone friendly, 40mm wide x 15mm Polycore® moulding has the look of real wood, is durable and light and easy to hang.
