(Original Caption). Hardest Golf Links in the World. A general view of the miniature links in the gardens of the Huntington Hotel, with several of the devotees trying their hands at the game. Nestled in the gardens at the Huntington Hotel at Pasadena, California, is the most novel and trickiest golf course known to patrons of the ancient Scottish game. The nine hole course is very compact, covering only a hundred and some odd square yards, but in that short stretch of turf may be found an assortment of obstacles that would make the most serene and hardened golfer utter words of blaspheme. The players tee off from a red brick and must, on the initial drive, connive to direct the ball through a metal hoop. On the fairway to the third hole the player must raise the spheroid over a hurdle twelve inches high. Further along the course, are such obstacles as barrels, 3 inch trestles, and o. Wood effect frame, card mounted, 10x8 fade resistant photo print. Overall outside dimensions 14x12 inches (36x31cm). Environmentally and ozone friendly, 40mm wide x 15mm Polycore® moulding has the look of real wood, is durable and light and easy to hang. Biodegradable and made with non-chlorinated gases (no toxic fumes) it is efficient; producing 100 tons of polystyrene can save 300 tons of trees! Prints are glazed with lightweight, shatterproof, optical clarity acrylic (providing the same general protection from the environment as glass).
