Janene Forsyth, 17, of Arlington, Virginia, the reigning Miss American Teenager, will turn over her title and crown to her successor in the 13th Annual Miss American Teenager Pageant which will take place in New York City on August 16th. The Miss American Teenager Contest grand finals heretofore were held at Palisades Amusement Park, N.J. where Janene won her title and more than $20, 000 worth of prizes last September. With the closing of the 74-year-old Jersey fun center, the national Grand Finals of the Miss American Teenager Pageant has moved across the Hudson River to New York City where it will be televised in a one hour nationally syndicated spectacular. A few franchises are still available in different sections of the country and there is still time for many girls 13 through 17 to enter in their home states. Wood effect frame, card mounted, 10x8 fade resistant photo print. Overall outside dimensions 14x12 inches (36x31cm). Environmentally and ozone friendly, 40mm wide x 15mm Polycore® moulding has the look of real wood, is durable and light and easy to hang. Biodegradable and made with non-chlorinated gases (no toxic fumes) it is efficient; producing 100 tons of polystyrene can save 300 tons of trees! Prints are glazed with lightweight, shatterproof, optical clarity acrylic (providing the same general protection from the environment as glass). The back is stapled hardboard with a sawtooth hanger attached. Note: measurements provided are estimated outer dimensions, which include both the image and the frame.
