The picture was made after Mr. And Mrs. Creighton had been acquitted of the poison-murder of her brother Raymond Every. Mrs. Creighton is now said to have confessed to police of Mineola, Long Island that she poisoned this brother and also was responsible for the death of Mrs. Ada Applegate. Mrs. Creighton, in her confession, absolved Everett Applegate of all blame in the murder. Applegate is being held awaiting trial on a second degree criminal assault charge for his confessed seduction of Ruth Creighton, now fifteen. Prints are glazed with lightweight, shatterproof, optical clarity acrylic (providing the same general protection from the environment as glass).
