(Original Caption) Secretary Susan Spaulding, 18, endeavors to assume the pose of Marilyn Monroe in a painting of the actress at the Museum of Modern Art here September 30th. The portrait of Marilyn is one of more than 100 works by leading American and European artists entitled Images of Man which was pre viewed by- invitation only at the Museum Late September 9th. Most of the art critics agreed that the smile, inviting, a blur of pink in the pasty face above a gown of robust red was Marilyn's. But her popping eyes were green instead of blue and her rakish hair looked like two yellow shaving brushes inverted over her ears, and so, the first lively debate of the new art season is on-- the question of whether it represented Marilyn
