(Original Caption). Tuna Tourney. Off Wedgeport, Nova Scotia, the currents of the Atlantic twist and swirl in an area known as Soldiers Rip. For reasons best known to a Tuna fish, this section from early July to late October is the feeding ground of the giant Bluefins. This year the angling was best in many years. Up to September 30, Tuna were taken on rod and line with an average weight of 504 pounds. The Fifth International Tuna Tournament staged off Wedgeport found the United States the winner for the first time. Teams were entered from the British Empire, Cuba and Argentina. Previously the Cuban team had won three times and the British Empire once. In three days of fishing the teams caught 22 fish with a total weight of 11, 000 pounds. Wood effect frame, card mounted, 10x8 fade resistant photo print. Overall outside dimensions 14x12 inches (36x31cm). Environmentally and ozone friendly, 40mm wide x 15mm Polycore® moulding has the look of real wood, is durable and light and easy to hang. Biodegradable and made with non-chlorinated gases (no toxic fumes) it is efficient; producing 100 tons of polystyrene can save 300 tons of trees! Prints are glazed with lightweight, shatterproof, optical clarity acrylic (providing the same general protection from the environment as glass).
