(Original Caption) The bridesmaids were dressed in cream taffeta with three feathers in their hair, writes Mrs. Franklin D. Roosevelt in her autobiography, This Is My Story, appearing in the Ladies Home Journal. Mrs. Roosevelt is shown here in her bridal gown. My own dress was heavy stiff satin with shirred tulle in the neck and long sleeves, she wrote. My grandmother Hall's rose point Brussels lace covered the dress, and the veil of the same lace fell from my head over my long train. Mrs. Roosevelt was married on March 17, 1905, and her uncle Theodore Roosevelt, then president gave her away in marriage. Wood effect frame, card mounted, 10x8 fade resistant photo print. Overall outside dimensions 14x12 inches (36x31cm). Environmentally and ozone friendly, 40mm wide x 15mm Polycore® moulding has the look of real wood, is durable and light and easy to hang. Biodegradable and made with non-chlorinated gases (no toxic fumes) it is efficient; producing 100 tons of polystyrene can save 300 tons of trees! Prints are glazed with lightweight, shatterproof, optical clarity acrylic (providing the same general protection from the environment as glass).
