Soviet Ambassador Georgi Zaroubin tried and failed yesterday to persuade these four refugee Russian seamen to return to their homeland, during an immigration hearing in Washington. Instead the sailors told Zaroubin that they would stay in the United States until Russia is free. From left after the closed-door hearing are Michael Ivanov-Nikolov; Victor Soloviev; Victor Tatamikov and Ben Ermenko. Five of their shipmates went back to Russia April 7 under circumstances which promoted the State Department to expel two members of Russia's United Nations delegation from this country. Wood effect frame, card mounted, 10x8 fade resistant photo print. Overall outside dimensions 14x12 inches (36x31cm). Environmentally and ozone friendly, 40mm wide x 15mm Polycore® moulding has the look of real wood, is durable and light and easy to hang.
