(Original Caption) 7/24/1936-Six persons were killed and almost 2 score injured when a woman driver of a racing car lost control of her machine and crashed into the crowd at Sao Paulo, Brazil. The driver, Miss Helie Nice, of France, was severely injured. Panic followed the crash with many being trampled when the crowd broke through the police cordon and rushed onto the track. The above photo was taken immediately after the crash, at the extreme left. One of the other cars is whizzing past as spectators flee.
