Sir Malcolm Campbell, who will try to beat his own record of 272.108 m.p.h. speed over the measured mile beach course here, inspecting the suspended bullseye that hangs over the finish line of the measured mile to provide a mark at which he can shoot, as he hurtles in his lumbering seven-ton car, the Bluebird. In his first tuning-up of his car today, February 14, Campbell raced over the course at the respectable speed of about 200 m.p.h. but his tachometer was not registering, so no record of the time was made. Wood effect frame, card mounted, 10x8 fade resistant photo print. Overall outside dimensions 14x12 inches (36x31cm). Environmentally and ozone friendly, 40mm wide x 15mm Polycore® moulding has the look of real wood, is durable and light and easy to hang. Biodegradable and made with non-chlorinated gases (no toxic fumes) it is efficient; producing 100 tons of polystyrene can save 300 tons of trees! Prints are glazed with lightweight, shatterproof, optical clarity acrylic (providing the same general protection from the environment as glass).
