The Cleveland Indians disclosed Nov. 16th they have obtained home-run hitter Ralph Kiner (Above) form the Chicago Cubs for a large amount of cash and undisclosed players. Kiner had to be passed on waivers by other National League clubs in order to come to Cleveland, the 1954 American League champion. Kiner, 32, spent most of his major league career with the Pittsburgh Pirates. He was traded to the Chicago Cubs during the 1953 season and last year, as an outfielder with Chicago, batted.258 and hit 22 home runs. Wood effect frame, card mounted, 10x8 fade resistant photo print. Overall outside dimensions 14x12 inches (36x31cm). Environmentally and ozone friendly, 40mm wide x 15mm Polycore® moulding has the look of real wood, is durable and light and easy to hang.
