(Original Caption) 6/25/1951-Washington, DC: Robert Rossen, screen director, producer and writer, is shown as he appeared before the House UnAmerican Activities Committee today. Rossen, who caotured an Acedemy Aeard for his picture, All the Kings Men, told the House probers that he is not a COmmunist, but refused to answer previous testimony that had described him as a member of the Party who had left its confines at about 1947.
