(Original Caption). Actor Rock Hudson had bypass surgery at an undisclosed hospital. Hudson, who starred opposite Elizabeth Taylor in Giant, in his best acting role, entered the hospital on a Sunday. Filming of his then current NBC TV series, The Devlin Connection, was suspended during his recovery period of six to eight weeks. The show was scheduled to premiere November 27th, but was to be held off the air until early part of 1982.
