(Original Caption). Champion Rocky Marciano, wearing a sleepy grin, allows Boxing Commission physicians to examine and probe the lids of his eyes, damaged in the Ezzard Charles fight in June. Later, on July 29, Marciano and Charles were matched for an outdoor September heavyweight title fight after two physicians has pronounced the wound on Rocky's left brow completely healed'. Promoter Jim Norris said the 15-round return bout would be staged at Yankee Stadium on September 21st. He said the exact date probably would be announced on August 3rd when Marciano and Charles sign formally at the headquarters of the New York State Boxing Commission. Wood effect frame, card mounted, 10x8 fade resistant photo print. Overall outside dimensions 14x12 inches (36x31cm).
