VIETNAM-11/23/67-: Behind a sandbag fortification, weapons point in all directions as soldiers of the 4th Infantry Division return the fire of the North Vietnamese entrenched in the ridges overlooking the town of Dak To, 12 miles to the northeast. A network of tunnels and underground fortifications 40 to 50 feet deep in which enemy forces withstood massive American bombardments and rained deadly streams of mortar fire on two companies pinned to the hillside about 400 yards below, was found when Hill 875 was captured on November 23. Wood effect frame, card mounted, 10x8 fade resistant photo print. Overall outside dimensions 14x12 inches (36x31cm). Environmentally and ozone friendly, 40mm wide x 15mm Polycore® moulding has the look of real wood, is durable and light and easy to hang.
