(Original Caption). Tranquility Base, The Moon: An Apollo 11 south-westerly view of the lunar farside. International Astronomical Union crater No. 308, about 58 statute miles in diameter, is the large crater at the edge of the picture. Near the center of the photograph a small apex crater (less than 1statute mile in diameter) rests on a nearby conical-shaped hill which is on the common rim of two adjacent unmanned larger craters (about 20 and 09 statute miles in diameter). This hill is not unlike earth cinder cones and suggests the possibility of some type of lunar volcanism which may build the hill and leaves as its final act, a smaller crater at the hill apex. Wood effect frame, card mounted, 10x8 fade resistant photo print. Overall outside dimensions 14x12 inches (36x31cm). Environmentally and ozone friendly, 40mm wide x 15mm Polycore® moulding has the look of real wood, is durable and light and easy to hang. Biodegradable and made with non-chlorinated gases (no toxic fumes) it is efficient; producing 100 tons of polystyrene can save 300 tons of trees! Prints are glazed with lightweight, shatterproof, optical clarity acrylic (providing the same general protection from the environment as glass). The back is stapled hardboard with a sawtooth hanger attached. Note: measurements provided are estimated outer dimensions, which include both the image and the frame.
