(Original Caption). Kentucky: What Really Happened In Kentucky Derby Stretch Fight. The result of the 59th running of the Kentucky Derby at Louisville May 6th will be argued and discussed for years because of Jockey Fisher's claim that his mount, Head Play, was fouled by Jockey Meade, astride E. R. Bradley's Broker's Tip, which was officially declared the winner. Fisher claimed that Meade pulled at the saddle blanket of Head Play, thus throwing the horse off stride, that he struck at Meade with his whip and then tried to pull at the saddle blanket of Broker's Tip. This photo shows Broker's Tip (16), on the rail, with Meade's hand extended toward the saddle of Head Play (9), which is in the lead. Wood effect frame, card mounted, 10x8 fade resistant photo print. Overall outside dimensions 14x12 inches (36x31cm). Environmentally and ozone friendly, 40mm wide x 15mm Polycore® moulding has the look of real wood, is durable and light and easy to hang. Biodegradable and made with non-chlorinated gases (no toxic fumes) it is efficient; producing 100 tons of polystyrene can save 300 tons of trees! Prints are glazed with lightweight, shatterproof, optical clarity acrylic (providing the same general protection from the environment as glass). The back is stapled hardboard with a sawtooth hanger attached. Note: measurements provided are estimated outer dimensions, which include both the image and the frame.
