Police said tonight that a short and squat Brooklynite, jobless for a year, admitted that he had robbed some 200 homes in the Flatbush area of Brooklyn, and had forced perhaps a score of women to submit to him, threatening to stab them with a screwdriver. Brooklyn District Attorney Silver, who took over the questioning personally said that Stanley Friedman, 24, who lives with his wife and two small children, had collected about $100, 000 in loot. The arrest was described as one of the most important of its kind in Brooklyn in a long time. Its importance to police was indicated by the disclosure that as many as 80 detectives have been looking for Friedman. Here, at the Snyder Avenue Station, Mrs. Jennie Goldman, 64, her eye puffy and black from a beating she received last Friday night, identifies Stanley Friedman as her assailant.
