(Original Caption). Sophomore Fling. They called it a honky-tonk party, but it appeared to be an earthy mixture of Paris, the Gay Nineties, the Casbah, and the Roaring Twenties. Cigarettes, suds and wild looking women were everywhere. The Left Bank and Greenwich Village were never gayer. It was the annual end of school fling for the Prima Donnas, a sophomore social club of Central High School, Little Rock, Arkansas. The affair is usually just a dance, but this year the teenagers decorated the campus like a dive and let their imaginations run to wild, wild entertainment. The cigarettes were made of candy, the booze was only root beer, and the loose looking ladies were just bobby soxers loaded with jewelry and makeup. to the camera it looked like a hot night on iniquity, but to the well chaperoned youngsters, it was all just good, clean fun. Wood effect frame, card mounted, 10x8 fade resistant photo print. Overall outside dimensions 14x12 inches (36x31cm). Environmentally and ozone friendly, 40mm wide x 15mm Polycore® moulding has the look of real wood, is durable and light and easy to hang. Biodegradable and made with non-chlorinated gases (no toxic fumes) it is efficient; producing 100 tons of polystyrene can save 300 tons of trees! Prints are glazed with lightweight, shatterproof, optical clarity acrylic (providing the same general protection from the environment as glass).
