(Original Caption). Boston Red Sox outfielder Ted Williams is shown in a six picture sequence during the spitting incident that cost him $5, 000 in a fine imposed by Boston's general manager Joe Cronin for misconduct on the filed. The incident occurred in the top of the 11th inning. The sequence shows William's actions as he headed for the bench. Williams had dropped an easy fly hit by New York's Mickey Mantle and was booed by the fans. Then he made a good catch against the fence of Yankee Yogi Berra's drive to end the inning. The fans cheered as Ted came to the bench. As William's neared the stands (arrow) he spat at the fans along the first base side of the grand stand then turned and did the same in the direction of left field. Environmentally and ozone friendly, 40mm wide x 15mm Polycore® moulding has the look of real wood, is durable and light and easy to hang. Biodegradable and made with non-chlorinated gases (no toxic fumes) it is efficient; producing 100 tons of polystyrene can save 300 tons of trees! Prints are glazed with lightweight, shatterproof, optical clarity acrylic (providing the same general protection from the environment as glass).
