(Original Caption). Chicago:With atty William Kunstler (l) by his side, Abbie Hoffman talks to newsmen in the lobby of the Dirksen-Federal Building in Chicago Nov. 15. On trial in Chicago on contempt of court charges stemming from conduct during the 1969-70 riot conspiracy trial, Hoffman told newsmen he would use his upcoming drug trial in New York City to dramatize how the government uses drug arrests to discriminate against dissidents. Hoffman was arrested in a NY hotel in August and it was alleged that he tried ot sell cocaine to undercover agents. 11/21/1973.
